My poor spouse has been on hold two hours waiting for the next available agent.
10 days ago we booked flights to Paris and back for October. The flights were Eugene to Denver to Paris going and Paris to Seattle to Eugene returning. Yesterday they canceled the Paris to Seattle return leg. No reason given of course. When she tried to rebook a replacement on line, it said she had to speak to someone. Delta sucks. They all suck.

(31,316 posts)I had to call American several days ago. The robot told me that if I left my name and number for a callback, it would occur within 18-26 minutes (weird, right?). My phone rang 20 minutes later and I was connected to an agent who handled the issue for me--which couldn't be done on-line--because it involved using credit from a COVID canceled trip for a trip I'd put on hold.
I hate flying. Really hate it. But I can't drive, take the train, or a ship to Bonaire and I really want to go back for a visit where I was celebrating my birthday when COVID hit in March 2020.
Good luck with getting your flights changed. Delta announced several weeks ago they would be resuming our direct RDU/Paris flights in September. It's possible that the Paris/Seattle flight could be one they are reinstating and if they haven't had sufficient bookings, maybe they are changing the schedule.

(471 posts)Though twice my call back was in the wee morning hours- though the system told me it would be. Still, they kept their word and were articulate and competent too.

(21,916 posts)Heres a tip that worked for us. Go to your local regional airport that connects with Delta. Get an actual ticket agent in person. Theyll help you. You wont be disappointed.
Good luck!
The people of Delta are great, its the management that sucks.
