It was on sale so, I said why not.
One small square of it and I was in bliss.
Yum! What is this? The best I have every had. It is so rich, just a few small squares was fully satisfying.
I finally decided to read the packaging and learned it is made from
coconut milk, not cows milk. I am sold!!
It is called Equal Exchange Organic Chocolates. (I knew would you ask!)

(4,385 posts)Where did you find your chocolate bar???? I saw their bittersweet chips online at Walmart, and some of the branded items at Vitacost? Alas, nothing nearby. https://shop.equalexchange.coop/collections/flavored-coffee
Lots more yummy chocolate products and other organic fair trade and/or organic products: coffees, teas, herbal teas, spice, oil, sprouted breads, organic oats and whole wheat flour. Shop direct and in larger quantities.

(7,370 posts)I also found them at Whole Foods, but never tried it until it was on sale.
I believe our local chain grocery store carries them too.
Did you try Walmart? Maybe?

(14,853 posts)The best chocolate that I've ever had is made by Esther Price, which I prefer over fine chocolates from Europe.
But I'm willing to challenge my long-time favorite!

(50,325 posts)There were these ones i used to sell in the 80s as a school fundraiser had a white sleeve that just said Caramel and a gold inner wrapper (I think there were also Crunch and Almond flavors). I have never found any that compare since then those things were the bomb

Hi Blue Owl!

(35,643 posts)I put all my grocery and other receipts in a clip when I walk in the door. Every few months I throw them in storage to get rid of at the end of the year.
I shuffled through the receipts before I put them in storage. I kept seeing two words:
kombucha
and
chocolate
A cursory glance would reveal that I spend hundreds and hundreds of dollars on these two products. It's OK: it is what makes life worth living!
and p.s.
if you get to the store and find this particular chocolate not available, there is one I was quite happy with recently: it's called Theo's.
