Woodlands kitty travels to Florida by accident

Julie Charters’ kitty Sharoo recently traveled from The Woodlands to St. Augustine, Florida by accident. Now she’s happy to have him back and she’s got quite a story to tell about his adventures. She's pictured here with Sharoo.

THE WOODLANDS, TEXAS -- Julie Charters’ domestic shorthair cat Sharoo isn’t your average feline.

He’s got a personality all his own and now she’s got quite the tale to tell about her adventurous companion.

Sharoo, named after the character from the movie “Lion,” went missing from her Pather Creek home in The Woodlands on June 26. Ironically, the character Sharoo gets separated from his family and ends up 1,000 miles away from home in the movie.

Eager for his return she littered The Woodlands with flyers and posted on Facebook hoping to locate him.

He came to her five years ago already spayed. He made himself at home with her and on her cul de sac where he was known by several names by neighbors. One time he even curled up in a neighbor’s bed.

And fortunate that he's so easy going, not all cats are, so he was successfully cat-sat by strangers until he could be transported home!
