I was a Bobby Orr fan back in the day when they did not wear helmets (the REAL hockey era), and all the hockey cities were northern places where we learned to skate on frozen ponds, lakes or purposely flooded parking lots. Not sissy's in air-conditioned Florida skating rinks.

16. Husband and I will be there 2 days in late September

Taking a road trip from Indianapolis to the Atlantic coast of Maine. Niagara Falls is stop #2.

Renting homes from VRBO on the way out. Taking the dogs with us, Amy the Chihuahua and Roxy the Rottweiler. Although the places we rented were “pet friendly”, we contacted each place to make sure they are cool with Roxy.

How are enjoying the Falls? I’ve been there a couple of times, it is a bit of a tourist trap, but it is an impressive sight. I believe some areas of the park are dog friendly, does anyone know for sure?
