A peaceful moment for you today

Green Mountain National Forest,Vermont
Much like many other New England woodland areas, it is a temperate broadleaf and mixed forest with plenty of wildlife–beavers, moose, and wild turkeys all roam around amongst the trees.

These are the things I prize
And hold of dearest worth
Light of the sapphire skies.
Peace of the silent hills.
Shelter of the forests, comfort of the grass.
Henry VanDyke, 1852-1933 American author, educator, diplomat.

well close by I traveled the United States (work) for 12 years (50 weeks out of the year, living in hotels) and what I can say is there is beauty wherever you go and sometimes we don't see what is in front of us every day... I don't ever take where I live for granted but I witnessed wonderful things most everywhere I traveled...

((( I have a large tent platform in the back that anyone is welcome to set a tent up on )))

view from my house... can't see the lake and rail trail across the way in this photo

Nature is amazing. I wouldn’t mind owning a place where this was my view when I opened the door.
