A trip to the vet, running around and wrestling each other, getting fawned over by adoring company, climbing all over me. Who can blame them for zonking out.

(26,257 posts)To be fair, even the tech wasn't sure so we HAD to rely on the word of the expert.
So, the two smaller ones are males and the two, bigger gray ones are females.

(5,067 posts)The garage they are in is a 48 X 48 pole building divided into 5 small rooms on one side and a large enough area for a dump truck on the other side. It used to hold my ceramic business where I had over 18,000 molds. I have them in what used to be the kiln room. I found a short piece of 2X8 board and put it up across the doorway. That way mama can get out and exercise in the main area and the babies will be safe. I will have to get some screen and smaller boards and make a temporary gate soon.
I take it you have not been able to trap the mother cat yet. Hopefully you can do so before she goes into heat again now that the kittens are no longer nursing. Good luck.

(26,257 posts)I've tried getting some but the only one cooperates is little Madoc. Right now, they won't hold still, long enough. And with Squeaky, he's so solid black that in most photos he looks like a silhouette or an ink blot. Even Smokey and Sootie's features all kind of blend. So we'll try different lighting and HOPEFULLY I'll have some, soon.
IF, by some chance, I can accomplish it on my own, you can trust that they'll be posted immediately. Gawd knows I've tried.

(487 posts)I just adopted a fabulous kitten from a local shelter and my sister-in-law adopted her brother. Both kittens were born feral, rescued and fostered until we got them. Their foster home did such a great job of socializing them. They are so sweet, affectionate and confident. I am so lucky to have sweet Nora. Would post a photo but dont know how. Sigh.

I hope that helps!
These kittens are most definitely being socialized. One of them was pretty hissy and spitty for the first two days. Now they are all just bundles of furry joy.
