Years later I figured out it was from when she worked as a shop girl and what Management would tell them. "Wisdom" starting from something like, 7 habits of successful people stuff or CARNEGIE.

The 10 prep things is my own. Almost any time to do something, I noticed I had to do a few or slew of things first.

And the danged mowing of the past three months (now over) of mowing - I always start with the hardest part, the cutting-in around the bushes, and then from the farthest perimeter, all getting easier and closer.

I used to think that my upbringing was short on being given nuggets of "wisdom". Yea, I got more and more from people encountered, figured out that book learning was another way, the hard knocks, too... all good.

*** And most interesting in knowing people is finding out what nuggets they have discovered in their own experience, unique/original with them.
