(128,895 posts)and has a 10" Kindle (Fire HD 10) that he takes to stream Netflix and whatever he watches from Xfinity. He's not that chatty for texting in general and doesn't do web forums (he's a more "verbal" guy), but am guessing once you're hooked up, you can have at it.
(ETA - he does do emails and is actively on Facebook, so he is probably doing that while getting treatment too)

(20,868 posts)A friend of my late mother has been on kidney dialysis 3X a week for many years.
She is in her late 90s now.
She mentioned to me that she found it boring being it takes a long time.
I hope you can find a way to cope with it and learn to live with it.
I'm sure it takes some major adjustments to one's life.
Know that there are many here that are dealing with chronic health conditions that do understand.
