and has a 10" Kindle (Fire HD 10) that he takes to stream Netflix and whatever he watches from Xfinity. He's not that chatty for texting in general and doesn't do web forums (he's a more "verbal" guy), but am guessing once you're hooked up, you can have at it.

(ETA - he does do emails and is actively on Facebook, so he is probably doing that while getting treatment too)

I’m sure that’s allowed. I mean, it has to be.

Rest well, get home soon, keep us posted.

A friend of my late mother has been on kidney dialysis 3X a week for many years.

She is in her late 90s now.

She mentioned to me that she found it boring being it takes a long time.

I hope you can find a way to cope with it and learn to live with it.

I'm sure it takes some major adjustments to one's life.

Know that there are many here that are dealing with chronic health conditions that do understand.

Hang-in there Yui and I hope you are home and feeling a bit better soon!

I am sorry that it requires so much to do so, but step by step? Perhaps you will be a candidate for a kidney transplant? (I don't mean to pry)... Your DU family is rooting for you!

and you’ll be able to surf the web or whatever while you are there. A good friend has worked in a dialysis clinic for years.

My very good friend's mom survived that 16 years.
