There's also a museum of erotica that sounds interesting. And I definitely want to see the street art museum.
I'm planning my trip next spring to Barcelona and I don't want to miss a thing!

(11,623 posts)My wife and I like to go to Chicago on the Amtrak train. Its about a 4 1/2 hour ride from where we live in southern Illinois. The Field Museum of Natural History, the Museum of Science and Industry, the Planetarium and Aquariums also there by Grant Park, and the Art Institute all are beautiful places to be stoned! We are taking the train up in mid September for the Dead shows at Wrigley... will definitely be stoned but not sure if we'll fit in any museums...

All of your list will go on mine.
I'll be taking a train to Paris for a week seeing several museums, which I have been to previously. But I especially want to see the Garnier for Chagall's ceiling.
This is shaping up to be a sensational trip. Given my advanced age, it might be my "Farewell Tour."

Can you guess the two legal reasons we wanted to go there?!
(Actually, I have several family-related reasons as well but aren't we all Aristocrats?)

(63,899 posts)I asked one of the museum attendants if he'd ever seen that happen before and he said "all the time."
Since then I have read about two other people , both artists, who cried in front of Van Goghs. It must be a phenomenon that occurs with this artist.
