I'm starting a new night time routine with the kittens
After they eat, there's playtime, which can get kind of crazy. They are big time into kitten wrestling. Cute to watch, but it gets them pretty fired up.
So, I put them all in the playpen and then I take them out, one at a time, and spend about 5 minutes just talking softly, walking around, petting and snuggling them. If after the first round they are still a little hyper, I do it, again. That usually triggers them to curl up in the cat bed.
And I was worried about Sootie, today, because she just wasn't interested in lunch, and had a slight 'poo' issue, which I resolved. Tonight she ate a great dinner, and just to be on the safe side I went ahead and did that whole 'stimulation' exercise to see if she might produce a little more poo. And did she ever. So my concern about her being constipated is history.
I never thought worrying about cats pooing enough would become a specific concern, in my life. Just goes to show you - life is full of surprises.
