Any administrative assistants/word processors out here?

I have some managed to enlarge the command screen on a MS Word document so I can't get to the real margins. The text is the same and fine. The display across the top:

File Home Insert Layout etc.

is enlarged. And I can't get to File, which of course is what I need to save the damned thing.

Can you tell me how to shrink it to fit the screen again?

wrong instruction!

sorry

can't you just drag the document down? put your cursor at the top and drag down? (I have open office, works in that)

I opened a new file, and everything was normal. I copied the text from the old file into the new one and gave the new file a completely different name. Saved.

And a half hour wasted that I could have used to do something else.

Maybe it's what screwed it up to begin with.

Unfortunately, I'm on a Chrome book and using Chrome.
