First of all, I SLEPT last night and didn't wake up until 6:10. I haven't slept past 6 in ages.
Then I realized I forgot to cook some chicken thighs for Sophie, yesterday. I had a tiny bit left so she got that, and a promise. They are simmering, right now. She went on a bit of a hunger strike, for a day or so. I bought her some fancy wet food, which she gobbled up. I'm so easily manipulated by cats.
THEN little Sootie managed to climb OUT of the play pen!!! And tiny Squeaky wasn't far behind. Well, damn. They set off quite the kitten cacophony, this morning. Currently, they are suspiciously quiet. Hopefully it is because of a post breakfast snooze.
Ah, but the ferals are fed, the kittens are fed, Sophie is kind of fed. My head is spinning. Is it too early for a Chardonnay? Probably.

(23,065 posts)I've gotten used to having Baileys in the coffee for a morning treat, but kahlua with coffee and milk is awesome too. Guess i know what my next tiny bottle will be - kahlua!

(23,065 posts)They are traditional! Although, if I am having morning alcohol, it's Baileys and coffee - yum!
