How to socialize feral kittens - Flatbush Cats

This crew was living in a pile of furniture behind an apartment building in Brooklyn, NY. It's a very common scene during the summer months - so what do you do?

That's how I socialized my crew of ferals. Sat on the floor with the baby food and a spoon, held at arm's length at first then gradually moved it closer. It took days, maybe weeks (it was three years ago so I've forgotten). Anyway, baby food was like magic.

I had a mom and 3 kits in my yard. I did end up taking the kits to a rescue agency.

we have 5 rescue cats and 3 of them were from hubby's feral colony. INKY, SADIE and our boy SALLY. Annie and Taffy were rescued from a metal recycling yard. all 5 of our cats were socialized in just a few days!!

i love this video.
