Gus has the most beautiful markings I've seen on a cat in a while. So happy for him in his new home. Very glad he's off the streets.

Thank you, always, for posting the positive, hope filled videos, of pets finding a forever home, and the kind humans who help them.

She the most striking looking cat I've ever seen. No stripes at all, but big colorful patchs like a giraffe.

They typically have that swirl on each side that looks like a target. They do have stripes, or "bars" on their legs and often one or two bars around the neck, like a necklace. Eyeliner stripes coming out of the corner of each eye.

You can see the classic pattern in a ginger/cream combination or in silver/gray. The classic pattern is the most common tabby pattern of the two tabby patterns. (The other pattern, which is stripes all over, is called mackerel.)

In this video, the richness of color and nearly perfect classic pattern, plus the cat's friendliness and response to the can opening make me think that it could be a pedigreed American shorthair that was once a pet and got lost or abandoned.
