A woman's doorbell camera captured her date driving away before she got inside her house. She called it the "red flag number two" of the evening and pledged to ghost him.


The woman shared a video of the "red flag" to her TikTok account, @Jadealyzaee, on Saturday, and it's been viewed 6.7 million times and liked 1.2 million times since.

"Red flag number 2, I am ghosting," she can be heard saying in the video.

The video sparked discussion in the comments section about what could happen if someone leaves before their date gets into their home safely, as well as other red flags.

Some were just as floored that her date failed to wait for her to get inside, with some noting they do for anyone they're driving home late at night. "Some of y'all's parents didn't raise you properly," a commenter wrote. "You always wait for the person to get into the house regardless of who it is."

... anyone. Unless there is some other reason (you can't see the door and they're gonna call you, for example). If not, you don't really like the person. This woman's date probably decided that was the last date. Maybe she raved about The Donald during dinner.

6. A buddy with a drinking problem almost died from hypothermia because of that. Another

buddy bartender used to look out for him. He and his wife ran the place we liked to drink at the most. Charlie would be getting too drunk an Brad the bartender would trade him one last drink for his keys.

That was the deal one Halloween about 25 years ago. Brad drove Charlies car home and his wife followed. They got him home and as soon as they drive off, Charlie falls and hits his head. It's a chilly rainy night too. I live about half a mile away and about four AM, I hear this knocking and yelling my name, "please let me in!" I open the door and he's shaking so hard he can barely stand.

I wonder how close he came? He had to have been out for about an hour from what Brad said. The dude thought he was going to make it to work later (at the liquor store of all places) but couldn't make it.

Especially after I was dropped off at my home by a friend's mother when I was a kid, who had took me to a public swimming pool with them, and I realized the doors were locked and my parents weren't home. I just waited on the porch for about an hour, so it wasn't really a big deal. But my annoyance over their apparent miscommunication, and the friend's mother quickly leaving after letting me out of the car, taught me to always wait until the person actually gets inside their residence.

14. Have to be honest, never waited for a dude.

Thinking back since the day I got my license the day after my 16th birthday....girls and ladies, always held the door and afterwards walked them to their door. Boys and men, never held a door open, after hanging out they just got out of the car on their own, later dude, see you.

Not saying it was right, but thinking back, it was what it was.

I go to the door with them. Then, I go inside, look around, check all the rooms and closets, see what’s inside the drawers and the refrigerator, and then I’ll pop over to the neighbors to ask a few questions about anything they may have seen lately.
