Doonesbury Student Survey: Do you believe in The Big Lie?

The Florida Legislature’s plan to investigate political speech on university and college campuses is on schedule to survey students, faculty and staff in the Spring 2022 semester. University Chancellor Marshall Criser told a House subcommittee he is working with the Institute of Politics at Florida State University to develop an "intellectual diversity assessment" that will measure the level of tolerance of political speech on the state’s 12 public university campuses.

Death Sentence is a profiteering murdering nazi who is determined to turn FL into a full on facist enclave.

A sophomore, a junior, and a grad student.

It's not that academia is necessarily liberal. In general, academia simply rejects conservatism due to its total reliance on dogma. Having the "answers" before you even ask the question isn't generally useful and leads no where. Dogma of the accepted view does exist in many fields, but over time it dies a natural death, since what really matters is what you can prove not what you believe. The fill in the blank answers of simple minds like "Lets all go back to when my peeps ran everything" or "god did it" just doesn't survive very long in that environment.
