Wow, I've rediscovered music I haven't listened to in ages, and I've fallen in love again. Watching and listening through the senses of the likes of rap and hip hop artists who have never even heard of Led Zeppelin, or Pink Floyd, or Neil Young is pure pleasure.

This one, his face during the Jimmy Page solo at the 10:40 mark gives new meaning to "mind blown."

And these guys were parodied on SNL, and President Obama even chatted with them. He's a fan. Anyway, they make me laugh way too hard.

1. My husband's much younger cousin thought he was cool

He had long hair, wore tight leggings, and studded leather bracelets. (This is the cousin, not the husband!) When they were talking about music, the cousin acted like we were old fogeys and what the hell do we know about music.

Husband put on Hendrix.

13. I wonder about those videos

I enjoy them, but are they completely genuine? In order to get subscribers, they can't knock the music. I have seen a couple of negative reviews, but more often the reviewer likes everything they play.

14. There are def some driven by clicks, but they

don’t have staying power. The genuine music lovers become apparent.

However, how can someone not be amazed by Zeppelin, Stevie Ray Vaughn, and Janis Joplin? So while I think that's partly true, I mostly differ, but I imagine it has a lot to do with who you chose to listen to.
