Well, my morning actually just got even better

First, Morgan ate a GOOD breakfast, and then both Mittens the Kitten AND Scooter let me pet them when I brought out their breakfast!

I'm waiting for, one of these mornings, to have them both try to come inside the porch! Scooter is still a bit more nervous than Mittens but this was a massive step forward, this morning.

2. Awesome progress.

We are feeding a new feral, he is quite shy & wouldn't get anywhere near the food as long as I was there. I'd have to walk at least one house away before he'd walk up to his food. But he talks to me so I knew he'd probably make friends. Well, today was a big step forward for us too, he actually came up to near the food today while I was standing there. i took 1-2 steps away & he came up and ate. Yay. Hoping he'll come all the way up to me very shortly, think it will definitely happen soon.

3. Both Scooter and Mittens are now talking to me

They wait right at the porch door and both have started meowing the instant they see me.

It's too dark in the morning when I bring out their breakfast, but when the weather permits, I'm going to start sitting on the steps, after I put out the afternoon food, just to increase their comfort with me.
