Many, many years ago, my sister, a toddler at the time, was sitting on the toilet in the upstairs bathroom. She started pointing and declaring, "I don't like dat ting!" "I don't like dat ting!" and was getting pretty agitated. My mom came in to the bath to see what was going on, and there was a bat sleeping on the shower curtain. She liberated the bat as my sister had hysterics. We heard that story often

They have never tried to hurt us even when they dive bomb us. They only do that in front of our faces but not close enough to feel their wings. They do not dive bomb our heads or backs.
Call me crazy but I think they sense that my friend and I like them.
