Tuesday my dearest and I got our booster vaccine.
This is what the day looked like. Just beautiful.
So is the feeling of the booster.

Ive entered a couple of contests here over the years. Nature photography is what I do most fungus, moss, wild flowers. I try to bring the unobserved into view.

(16,925 posts)Had a brother-in-law that lived in Oscoda and made the drive from PA many times. A very beautiful area!
And congrats on the booster!

(9,719 posts)Yeah, I try not to take everything around us for granted it does take a reminder every once and a while. We live in a National Forest and are a short drive to the Huron.

They say we're in for a hard winter.
I sure hope not. But no doubt, we'll get hit hard with the lake effect snow off Lake Michigan.
It sure is pretty, though.
Happy Winter, MiHale!

(23,338 posts)Or any other harbingers of coming weather. The acorn count in my yard seems a little less than normal.

(9,719 posts)in October the pattern seemed to follow in winter, we had a fair amount of snow that winter and it wasnt long ago, 2019.
We were able to snowshoe rather deep into the forest. Hoping for the same this year.
My wife and I are not real good indoor people, we are outside most of the time unless the day is too bad.
Very lucky too, we live close to town so if its real bad we can walk to whatever we need, we do little driving in winter. Plus everything we love to do is right outside our back door.
