yeah, vague, sorry. i sorta knew the guy/band but it wasnt someone i listen to. so i am drawing a blank. i'll say doh when someone knows.
she was an adorable little african american girl, no more than 10 ircc.
tried to search through the lounge, but no luck.
i wanted to send the vid to my son the 30 yo drummer to give him something to strive for.
jk. just thought he's get a kick out of her, and i know he knows who the guy is.

I like him. Seems a good guy. That lasagna bit is too funny.

(39 posts)I see you already got her name. Did you get a chance to see the recent video of her playing with the band live? It was really, really good. I watched 2 times. There were so many videos posted on YouTube, from audience members, as well s an official one from the venue. But, the 2nd video of it was someone filming from , not backstage, exactly, but from the side where some of the crew is, I guess.
But whoever filmed it is standing next to the little girls' father and you hear him cheering and laughing and cheering some more. I kind of cried a little bit. You could hear how proud he was and how happy he was for her.
I wish I had the link, but I couldn't find it again. I'm pretty sure I clicked a link to it from a different forum, but I don't remember . Sorry. Maybe if you search YouTube with "nandi's dad" or even google it. I usually have better luck finding videos when I search Google first.

it's another example of just how smart kids are, and how far they can go when you support what THEY want to learn. we dont give them enough credit.
