Yes - I typed Basket Hound. Only because I heard someone use that name when they saw a Basset Hound.

At the moment, I'm putting together a a Xmas show of MR James ghost stories. Part of the filler between the longer two tales is his short "The Malice of Inanimate Objects", which features just such a collusion of creatures. They are "off to Squire Kobles, who has a reckoning due'.
That's a conspiracy in the making, there, mate!
