7. That they do. When a group of squirrels that I had been feeding lost their winter stash

in a fire (their storage trees burned up), they came to me for help. Of course I immediately got them more nuts, and delighted in watching them select new trees.

8. We've been having some wonderful Indian Summer weather here in Albuquerque.

Highs in 70s, lows in 40s. Tomorrow's high is supposed to be 80 but after that they're
down in the 60s. Oh well. Our heat is already ready to run, been using it to take the
chill off for some mornings.
