A Question on Motivation..Why Would Someone Deliberately Start a Fire? Warning: Unpleasant Reading

Just asking...Please avoid if you find this to much to read..

Why do people do something this horrible.?......................................

.....I came across this by accident, and I questioned myself, how can this happen?...(in our modern times?)

I know these people are nuts, but why do something this horrible? What is the reason?..Any Ideas?..Anyone? Why would a father & son deliberately start a fire?. Just Asking.

Pyromania, the term for pathological fire setting, is a rare disorder characterized by the intentional and repeated setting of fires. People with pyromania are deeply fascinated by fire and related paraphernalia. They may experience feelings of pleasure, gratification, or a release of inner tension or anxiety once a fire is set.

I sort of liken it to the Mom (or another caregiver) who sickens their child/patient intentionally for the attention--Munchausen syndrome by proxy (MSBP)... also a well-documented mental disorder.

Then again, you have mere blatant stupidity, like these morons:

Monetary gain.
Political beliefs.
To hide a crime.
To improve a living situation.
Delusions.
Hallucinations.
Impaired judgment, such as being under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
Pyromania
