but then reality isn't always pretty. Sometimes I won't post a link to certain collections
but I felt like the colorful dancers and models balanced things out today.

the pictures from Scotland and from Africa is that they show us a wider world. . . Some of it beautiful, some sweet, some very sad or terrible. It has been my opinion for many years that many Americans are too provinchial, too insular. I like being reminded that we are not the only beings on this planet.

So, on this day of celebration for many, I celebrate and thank you for these wonderful weekly gifts. Happiest of holidays to you.
