A bit of trivia: Small parrots tagged as "keet" have long tail feathers. Budgie aka Parakeets, best known example.

All lories and lorikeets are like that. In the wild they eat nectar and fruit, anyone who owned by them feeds them a diet high in sugar. They usually wired and highly intelligent. So, they spend a good part of their day playing and getting into stuff.
