How about a list of people who were sure they would not be convicted of crimes..

Another one who lied and paid a high price..Trump lawyer Michael Cohen

I think at first, he was sure that he could get away with it. Later, he realized the answer was ,

NO I CANNOT GET AWAY WITH IT and eventually he served his time. At one point I read that his
father was a Holocaust Survivor, and that the father convinced Michael to tell the truth.

I read that his father said something like (not exact words, but similar) .." I did not
survive the concentration camp to see you lie to a jury "


....Therefore, Cohen told the truth and served his time..
