I'm watching a documentary called The Janes about

woman that formed a group (in Illinois) to help other women get abortions pre-Roe V. Wade.

I'm not sure which platform (maybe HBO). It's put together really well.

1. Just watched the trailer... very interesting... It's on HBO... I think on You Tube also, not sure.

This trailer reminded me of something I had not thought about:

She hasn't seen the documentary but apparently she's known about "The Janes" for a long time.

She was the friend of a freind.

9. i know some of those women.

when i was helping to form chicago women in trades in the 80's, a few of the members had been a part of it. later met a nurse who was one of the trainers.

So powerful. I'm 70 years old and remember those days.
