Some people's manners . . .

I was calmly sitting in an Arby's eating lunch and reading the Times over the noon hour. Sitting a few feet away was a young couple. I couldn't see them because there was a post between me and their table.

Not once, not twice, but three times within five minutes. the male denizen of said table emits very loud, carrying, and completely unmuffled belches. The female half of the duo then began singing tunelessly (and quite loudly) along with the music on the restaurant's speakers.

is up with people this gross? You're in a public place. Were you raised by freepers?

I found that a single Roast Beef with Curly Fries meal has the sodium equivalent of like 1000 times the daily recommended levels.

with the same approximate "tone." And the singing came from a place that was near to but spatially distinct from the belches.

Let a little into your mouth, then slowly and silently expel the air from there. Repeat till the urge is gone.

I sneeze without engaging my vocal chords.

Belching and throat clearing are the most disgusting noises to me ( other than the other obvious one )

Yes I am a repressed sort, but I know for a fact some people do this stuff on purpose and it pisses me off.
