23. He's been trying to make this movie for years

for awhile, Liam Neeson was signed on to play Lincoln. Then he dropped out, claiming he was "too old" even though he's about the same age as Lincoln was in 1865. I think it turned out to be a win, Daniel Day-Lewis should make a better Lincoln than Neeson.

16. Looks promising.. except Sally Field is playing Mary Todd Lincoln;

she's a great actress, but she's 65 years old (ten years old than Daniel Day-Lewis). Mary was only 46 when her husband was assassinated. Then again, Sally has an ageless quality about her.
