1. I saw that last nite!!

It's one of the few commercials that choked me up. I'm glad that you have someone like that in your life. It's so rare to see that kind of devotion.

Oh, and thanks for letting me know it was a Subaru commercial. I totally missed what the commercial was about!

4. did a 40 mile trip last week...

on my new bike... not a race, but still... and he was waiting at the end with snacks and a wet facecloth... so sweet

you are correct and I do get sad about the state of affairs out there often... I think all we can do is be the person we want everyone to be and hope for the best

my partner and I have seen some pretty rough days... individually, before we met, and now together we have had struggles... I drive him crazy because I think out loud and plan out all sorts of fantastic things for us and he drives me crazy because he makes me come back to earth when I dream... we are as different as night and day but we are old enough to know the value of respect and commitment in the face of adversity...
