It's official. The US government has said that I am old.
For years, my definition of middle age has been "too young for Medicare but too old for women to care."
I received my Medicare card today. It's official, I'm now elderly. It's all downhill from here.

1. Funny!
I recently realized for me to continue to consider myself middle aged I’ll need to live to 124!

2. Drop 'elderly,' please.
Think of yourself as 'old' due to Medicare card if you want; I received mine YEARS ago.

7. Hope springs eternal.
At least to some point, getting old beats not getting old.

9. Why do they call it "down hill" when it feels like I'm always going up hill?
