We always bought Costco brand, but we havent gone to Costco for a while and we just keep buy different kinds to find one we like. Any suggestions?? Prefer softer variety.

(14,637 posts)Seriously, it's a brand. We get the bamboo version because we like it so much better than the recycled one. It's a bit pricey, but for a good cause. It's soft enough for us and doesn't leave lint behind. And the boxes are always entertaining.

(14,637 posts)I saved the wrappers and gave some coloring to a friend who enjoyed them very much. The ladies I donate my clothes to enjoy the boxes. There's something for everyone!
I'm not happy that their prices have shot up ridiculously, but that's the case all around.
BTW, their Dream Cloths last forever as dishcloths. I'm still on my first package, which I bought 2 years ago. I use them every day for dishes and toss them into the laundry several times/week.

(21,104 posts)I know that doesn't help you, but once you use a bidet, you never go back.
piddyprints
(14,637 posts)I still use paper, but a lot less of it. My bidet doesn't blow dry my nether regions. It's just cold water.
My husband swore he would never use the bathroom that I installed the first bidet in. After about a week, it was the only one he would use. During Covid, we installed them the other bathrooms as well.

(10,279 posts)Is the final step to wipe dry with tollet paper OR cotton rags? If cotton rags, are they dropped into a bucket with disinfectant solution and next to washer on sterilize cycle?
It seems to me that toilet paper has an edge in convenience.

(64,861 posts)...the 7th Gen packaging is a little misleading. Nearly all TP is at least 80% recycled paper. TP allows for 3rd & even 4th generation recycle. So, it's actually more cost effective to max out the recycle content.
Now, I've been to 7th Gen's corporate HQ, and they're a very good company. So, I'm not accusing them 9f anything.
But, there are lots of brands that are 100% recycled paper.

(4,437 posts)Love it. Not as soft, but doesn't fall apart or melt in your hand while using it, either. Made of sustainable bamboo pulp and is hyperallergenic, absorbant and free from dyes and chemicals.
21,000 trees a day are killed to make toilet paper. Trees that take 30 years to grow. Bamboos take 3. Well, worth the slight difference in feel for environmental benefit.
Hope you try it.
