I will let you know, as soon as I can. I have a couple of friends with the Ipad. or what ever it is..the one with
internet connection..I will get on line. I will miss this place..the who crazy place. I stopped putting up the jokes after my February surgery. That took so long to get better, but this one should go much faster. I will put up another toon tomorrow. Sunday..

You've been through hell.

Comparatively, you're about to go through heck.

If so, and it's done anterior--or even laterally--they're not that bad.

I had one 5 years ago and was out of the hospital in 3 days. Up walking the day after surgery.
Didn't even need a cane after 3 weeks. Do your exercises! And don't be afraid to
ask for pain meds BEFORE you need them.

Good luck! Hope it goes well.

pulling for you, and it seems like those surgeries have come such a long way in the last decade; everyone I know who has had something similar bounced up better than ever.

And just think - with a fixed hip and a kick-ass heart, you can go on a walking tour of Tasmania and get a look at the real devils (just don't shoot them, they've got enough problems)...

I've had both done. YMMV, but within a couple of weeks I was back to the routine. The key is post op physical therapy. You have to stick with it for full recovery.

and good vibes for tomorrow. Check in ASAP.

I know it is just hip surgery...I know my chances are very very good..
but my mind turns around and around. Like a room fan cooling off at high speed. Hard to shut that sucker down..but your good wishes are slowing it to a manageable level. Thanks to everyone..

You're obviously a strong person, being that you made it through the heart surgery and pneumonia.
