(17,505 posts)An underrated film IMHO. It looks great... good production designers! And it has a good script. But the lead guy can't act his way out of a paper bag. Ralph Richardson's scene where he stands on a high precipice and controls the elements (a la Mickey Mouse in "Fantasia" ) is awesome.

(3,134 posts)Underrated for sure but all of my fanboy friends love it. One even pointed out that Vermithrax isn't technically a dragon but a Wyvern, because of the lack of front independent arms. Oh, ok...
