Du'ers, when you post something about your area, such as,


"Looks like the economy is picking up in my area."

"We got 10 inches of snow last night!"

and so on. Anyway, I'm requesting that you please put where you are. If
you live in a very small town, and think that would compromise your identity,
then put the state. Or a nearby larger city.

Yeah, you're correct. Some of us know where other users live, but most don't. I try to put a (PA) in the post to at least narrow it down a little.

and sometimes a location would be revealed. I don't think profiles show anymore like that, or I havent found them yet.

Sometimes I have googled to see what location someone is talking about, if enough info is given.

On New Years Eve I could have posted that I watched the moon pie drop at midnight and people could have figured it out, with the help of google because I am pretty sure I live by the only town that does that!
