the rocky theme music and the man getting hugged and high fived by his friends and family. I feel like daydreaming about my own quit whenever I see it. I'm so proud I quit. I did use champix/chantix. It did work for me.

(719 posts)I'm one of those statistical rarities for whom Chantix is useless. While I was using it, it made me as irritable as all get out. I went through some very weird mood swings (think Richard Gere in Mr. Jones), and was very short-tempered. I got into a stupid argument with my sister at Thanksgiving dinner (can't even remember what it was about), and pretty much ruined it for everyone.
I'm thinking that someday I will quit smoking....and there will a funeral service a few days afterward.

(118,577 posts)been quit over 3 years and hardly ever crave (maybe once every 2 month and it is not a strong desire at all). It is so worth it. Keep trying. I know I thought I could never be quit but that was just the addiction speaking. It controlled my thinking. I also used the quitnet.com .... a great website where you can go and talk to other quitters when you have a crave. Lots of advice there too on other methods of quitting. ((Hugs)).

... with their smartphones. The look on the older woman's face when she turns from
the copier and sees them is priceless (one of them has gotten a foot caught in his
swivel chair and it's not slowing him down in the least).
.
And the one with the middle-aged woman talking about how glad she was that her
husband Hank had the foresight to get insurance so their kids could now be sent to
college. If she could thank him for one thing... it would be that foresight. A man
walks by and says, "You're welcome" and she says "Hey, Hank."
.
It's a commercial for a life insurance you can use while the insured is still alive. It
gets even funnier when Hank says, "You are one LUCKY lady" and she says, VERY
sarcastically, "Mmmm-hm!!"

(22,298 posts)But it's my all-time favorite: a man is going thru his house turning on all the lights and opening up the doors. Nothing is said until the last shot where he's standing on the front porch, door wide open, talking on the phone & saying "mom, just want you to know I turned on all the lights and the front door is wide open so I can air condition the whole town!"

(719 posts)for one of the major insurance companies-- Geico?-- that showed a couple of chipmunks dashng across the road in front of a car. The driver of the car hit his brakes and swerved to avoid the squirrels, and wound up in the ditch. You then saw the chipmunks giggling and high-fiving each other.
Always cracked me up.
