Excitement at the homestead tonight....

All of the sudden, while watching Fringe, we smelled that awful odor they add to Natural Gas so you can tell when there is a leak.

It was overwhelming.

We called the Fire Department and they were there with in 6 minutes.

They checked the house and there was no NG detected. But when the police came by, they said they smelled something outside.

I was grateful for there diligence and they were very nice.

The smell is gone, the cats have calmed down and now it's time to head to sleep.

What a way to celebrate the New Year.

She was farting up a storm. And, she was comfortably parked on my lap as she did so. Stinky poo!

trust me on this, OK?

been some infrastructure going bad this year all over the country, houses/neighborhoods blowing up.

we finally found our years-long ongoing problem and had to replace some line. gas is pretty dangerous, get it checked out.
