are now my favourite snack food. Found these a few weeks ago, and they're the hottest chips I've ever had.
If you like spicy foods, try 'em out.

(10,337 posts)I am sweating! These sound like they are worth a try but my experience is that if the corponazis call it hot, it's generally to mild to even bother with.

Stuff make with habanero extract is usually too much for me.

(38,303 posts)The Kettle Brand Hot Jalapeno will do... especially with the right hot sauce.
The kids around here eat crunchy flamin' hot Cheetos or Takis with hot sauce and/or lime juice. In the afternoon when school lets out street vendors park their little carts near the schools and sell them.

I'm sure this style of snack food existed in California's Mexican-American communities long before Hot Cheeto's were created, but now apparently it's everywhere.

(23,340 posts)but I am not into hot for hot's sake, either. It is the way something is hot that is interesting to me, as different hot sauces have different flavors. Hotness should compliment the other flavors in the food, not overpower them and make them disappear. There are plenty of chili sauces so hot that only a drop or two can wipe out a plate of food.
my latest is a Thai chili garlic sauce with basil that I keep in fridge and throw into different dishes. I also like the smokier flavored chilis of the Southwest.
