Is there a bird watching group here anywhere?

I have a new little bird in my backyard. He showed up when I put a seed "bell" out that seems too hard for my usual little brown jobs and chickadees.

He's got a black & white face, pointy beak, white breast and piebald wings.

It could be the Harry or the Downy.

The Ivory Billed Woodpecker was thought to be extinct until it was sighted in 2004. [IMG][/IMG]

The smallest is the Downy Woodpecker: 6.75" L (beak to tail feather tip) , 12" WS (wingspan).

The Hairy Woodpecker is: L 9.25" , WS 15".
