Only occasionally will my cat complain, but tough. She's more than welcome in the bathroom when I'm shaving or brushing my teeth, but that's it.

The tiny fingers reaching under the door, the plaintive wail, "Mooooommmmeeee!!!!"

Apparently, a closed bathroom door means you have stepped into another universe and may be gone forever.

Then the cats wander in to see why he is lying in the bathroom, and takethe opportunity for the ankle rub thing.
Thank god both cats are NOT lap cats.

How does the dog know I'm in there?
She has her own bed in the living room.
Sleeps like a dead dog during the day.
Loves to nibble her kibble all night long.

I haven't had the pleasure of cats rubbing my ankles since 1994.

They all, with 2 exceptions, have shown up at my door.
Would you like me to paste your address to my door so they head over to your place instead?
We are pretty full up now.

Living alone, I never think to shut the bathroom door.

I have a real problem if my feet, ankles, and/or legs are bare, because that's the perfect time for them to become prey.

She attacks. Not with claws. With teeth.

She also likes to hide in the bathtub, behind the shower curtain, and leap out at me as soon as I take a seat.

I call the bathroom "The Petting Room" because it never fails. They will come in for pets and kisses everytime.
