HELP!!! My wife is having issues with her client and endive.

I will say my wife needs to get a new client...

Now my wife whenever she has cooked with endive she has gotten a oblong yellowish/white leaf lettuce like thing. She buys that item for her client who wants endive for a soup.

He yells at her that that's not endive and that he never cooked with anything like that before.

She is frustrated that she cannot find --Leafy green endive like he wants.

The guy is on some heavy drugs and either he confused OR he is on a power trip of some sort and will try anyway to not give my wife a raise in the upcoming week.

My wife is also sick as a dog and she took one day off because she couldn't get out of bed and now she is stressed about the upcoming visit with her client because of this.

I didn't know this, but frisee lettuce is also known as "green endive."

Also, your wife should focus on getting well. And maybe finding a new client.

I have never called this stuff endive, only frisee or escarole. When I think of endive, I think of the stuff described in the OP.
