I never really follow the gossip columns, so I'm a little ignorant of all the facts. I have always liked Foster, thought she might be gay, but never gave it much thought one way or the other because I just admired her work. Never really cared and don't care now who she has sex with. But there were three things that stood out to me in her speech last night. 1. She's 50. 2. She's single. 3. She referred to her "ex-partner in love, Cydney." Could it be that she just broke up with Cyd, (her ex) and that's why she's single? And could she also be a little menopausal as well as heartbroken, which might account for the rambling? As I said, I don't follow these things, but now I'm curious. Someone please clue me in.

(10,642 posts)She did seem a little wound up and I couldn't follow most of what she was saying.
It seemed to me that her Mom suffers from some form of dementia.

(12,319 posts)I'm just wondering why being a "little menopausal" would account for the "rambling".
...just missing your point, I guess.

(3,879 posts)The hormone fluctuations made me feel I was rambling at times. But maybe I was just rambling. Really didn't intend it to be sexist, but I know how it feels to be menopausal. If you haven't been thru it, you can't really know.

(3,879 posts)mentioned with a man. I usually don't have a clue about these things, never suspected Meredith Baxter was gay, but mostly just don't think about it because I want to accept each person as an individual. Ironically, as a girl I had crushes on both Rock Hudson and Richard Chamberlain, and adore Johnny Mathis! Really just a clueless old lady.
