Just noticed on my transparency page

3 People are ignoring me. I have no idea who I offended I'm pretty non controversial. I apologize to those three I offended. Even though you'll never see this since I'm ignored by you.

I posted something similar a couple of months ago. At the time 1 person was ignoring me and I wondered what I might have done to offend them. A couple of weeks ago I checked my transparency page again and now I have someone else ignoring me. That's a 100% increase in just a short amount of time. As one person told me, you can say that puppies are cute and someone will find it offensive.

Just keep doing what you do and don't worry about it.

I was holding steady at 6 for about a year then I started mocking the JFK conspiracy nuts and two more joined the show.

Some people will hit the ignore if you so much as make a post they find inconsequential to their experience on DU. They like to see what certain friends post and that's it.

I learned not to care about it too much.

They lost access to the humor and insight that I sometimes bring.
(Rarely I may add, but hey if it happens once in a while, then I come up ahead.)

That's the most I have ever had.

I guess some people just can't handle the truth.

Personally, I have never used the ignore function for anyone. I just read what they have to say and conclude to myself that they are stupid. Sometimes, I eventually wind up changing my mind and deciding that I was the stupid one after all. Other times, not so much. But I still find it intriguing to know what other people think. Someone would have to aggressively stalk me before I would ever hide their posts.

If I remember right, way back when, someone got pissed at me over a post I wrote about Sarah Palin. I figure whoever has me on ignore for saying something snippy about Sarah - well, I can't be missing much IMHO.
