Sorry it's late. Malware problems.
Like it or not, it is still winter. We all know that we need to do things to keep our little sweeties safe. ASPCA.org has some tips to do just that! Read about them on http://www.aspca.org/pet-care/pet-care-tips/cold-weather-tips.aspx

(14,120 posts)I have had a rough time with malware and unwanted mysterious toolbars for two days now.
Still can't figure out why I can't get rid of this Certified thing. Instead of opening my homepage, it goes to it's homepage, literally overriding my settings. I even went into my internet settings and it is not listed as my homepage but it comes up none the less.
In other words I have had a couple of days of

(14,120 posts)It is still there, however I got rid of most of it by dumping my old java.
But it still comes up when I open Windows and Media Player. However dumping java has made it where it can't get online, it keeps flashing about it. It is not happy about it.

(11,065 posts)get the free version - works great.

If that doesn't end up working though, you might even try doing a system restore to a previous date where you knew you didn't have this issue (like a week ago or two weeks ago). I've done that several times in the past to get rid of some creepies. Although some of these creepies disable your system restore as part of the creepy crap they do, so if the system restore fails, that's why. Worth a shot though. But try Malwarebytes first and see if that takes care of the problem.
If nothing else works, I've gotten awesome free emergency computer help here though it can sometimes take a couple of days of back and forth instruction with a knowledgeable person there to walk you through cleaning out computer creepies...

When posting your problem, be VERY thorough in explaining what weirdness your computer is doing (you get help a lot faster that way). It was this site that I found out about Malwarebytes, Hijack This and several other good creepy killers.

(3,709 posts)and the Mom Mom Wach....I had a Flat-coated Retreiver, who loved snow that much and wanted everyone to enjoy it with her. However, the first time she caught a snow-ball, she was extremely puzzled. My ex threw her tennis ball several times, then threw a snowball. As it disintegrated in her mouth, she was most perplexed. A few snowballs later and she learned how to catch them...then drop them and wait for another. She was a sweetheart.
Love the Chewbaca one as well...
Thanks...miss having doggies...only have two kitties at the moment, so I love the Fido Friday!

Did you make sure to disable Java? Don't know if that's the problem and disabling it caused me some trouble, but it is a must do.
