The author's dialog between the pilot and ATC indicates she has absolutely no idea what really goes on. People magically appear and disappear from the kitchen. It's taken until book 3 for her to finally need the safe word????

Plot holes you could drive a truck through. Paper-cut-out characters. Unimaginative sex scenes.

I made the mistake of watching George Takei's version of it. Now I can't get his voice out of my head while reading it.

Watch at your peril.
