This Gen X'er loves the music he grew up with (top 40 from the early 70s to about 1987), but once I turned 18 in 1987 I discovered a lot of progressive rock and metal. And I know I'm in a small minority but not that small.

This station should challenge people every once in a while with something more obscure and inaccessible. But I doubt they will.

I started out listening to Alternative/Progressive rock and metal, and I haven't stopped listening to it either. As a GenX'er, I can't say their list excites me in any way.
