Based on a true story of a dance instructor that taught inner city kids to dance in NY!

She and Antonio have been partners for a while, unbelievable but true.

She (many bottles of pills ago) was really something in "Working Girl." Her voice was/is so sultry, a solid actress, must get it from her mom Tippi Hedren of Hitchcock's "The Birds."

Having finished my first mug of coffee, I was awake enough to look for what I may have missed last night!

I am sooo delighted I didn't miss this completely!

My new postman is more handsome, in the classical sense, but lacks Antonio's sheer animal magnetism

I'm probably not the best judge of such things. I can't do the tango or the merengue and every time I hear the word "tango" I think of Gomez and Morticia Addams.

On a side note, I've got an ad on the screen from Amazon.com for a 15 gallon drum of concentrated sulfuric acid, 98+% pure, H2S04 for $274, knocked down from $350. That's a little disturbing, well, especially that you can buy it from Amazon.com!!! And why would a thread about the tango or Bandaras trigger the ad-bot to select that one?

their version of the tango was sacrilege.

Sulfuric acid and Antonio Banderas...now that is a stretch! I've heard complaints about guns being advertised, but because I bought a star within 10 minutes of reading through a few threads on GD, I didn't know there were ads on du...until the gun complaints were put out there.

I will, based solely on your recommendation, give another look to Arnold's interpretation of the tango!

The tears in my eyes from laughing didn't let me see it well the first two times. I don't know how they pulled that off, but it was awesome.

One thing about Arnold is that no matter how serious or action packed his movies are, he still manages to slip in a lot of humor. I think most of it is improvised.

I've enjoyed most of his movies...the Conan's being the exception. His facial expressions can be scenes unto themselves...In True Lies his 'shock' was hilarious!
