(21,020 posts)when I was a child, I was convinced that hotdogs were made from the weiner dogs.
Which was why I would not eat the ends of the hotdogs. Because I thought they were the weiner dogs' tails. And I didn't want to eat the end that was closest to the ass. So I cut the ends off and ate the middle.
I never told my parents, who couldn't figure out why their oldest child was so damned weird.

(53,029 posts)Kids can think strange stuff. I myself had the hardest time figuring out the Apollo missions. My problem was, I thought we lived inside the earth, not on its surface. So when I asked my parents questions about how the astronauts got through the surface and got back in, they had no idea I wasn't thinking about the atmosphere.
