(66,307 posts)I was inspired, back in 2006, a few months before the election that swung the Houses back to the Dems from the Republicans, by Mercutio's line from Romeo And Juliet: "A plague o' both your houses!"
I pasted a pic of the Capitol building, and typed the quote underneath, along with the source, Act, Scene, and Line.
I've been doing it ever since. Do it as a daily was exhausting, so I took a sabbatical for a while, then re-started the feature as a weekly.

(66,307 posts)Kenneth Branagh's version has long been one of my favorite Shakespeare films, despite the presence of the awful Keanu Reeves.
I like the look of this one. The music and the behaviors look sort of Jazz Age, but the clothing is present-day. Can't wait to see it!...
